Notice is hereby given: Ann Arbor Township Planning
Commission will hold 3 PUBLIC HEARINGS at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
September 8, 2008 at the Ann Arbor Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac
Trail, Ann Arbor, MI to hear comments on the following amendments
to the Zoning Ordinance:
Sec 74-174(d)(2)
- revising the process for signing and distributing approved
final site plans and ensuring compliance with any conditions
of approval.
Sec 74-133
- removing the exemption from fees for conditional use permits
for a single family residence or governmental body.
Sec 74-2 -
amending the definition of floor area.
The proposed amendments are posted here and are
also available for review or purchase at Ann Arbor Township Hall,
3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, Monday through Friday,
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Written comments may be submitted to the
Township Hall or via email (basch@aatwp.org) before 12:00 p.m.
on the day of the meeting. All interested parties are invited
to attend and express their views.

Agricultural Preservation Residential District Zoning
Ordinance Amendment Notice:
On July 21, 2008 the Ann Arbor Charter Township Board
of Trustees approved amendments to the following Zoning Ordinance:
Chapter 74, Article IV, Division 4 Additional Requirements Applicable
to Certain Districts, 74.547 Agricultural
Preservation Residential District - The regulatory effect
is to establish an optional means for development of lands located
in the Agricultural Production or Open Space Preservation areas
of the Township, as designated in the Master Plan. Intent is to
preserve agricultural lands by providing clustered residential development
that offers an alternative to traditional subdivisions through the
use of Planned Unit Developments. The amendments are effective August
15, 2008.
